 Jim
Wells moved to South Padre Island almost 30 years ago from
Michigan. He immediately went to work for Tompkins Young Real
Estate which was the Island's first Real Estate Company. Shortly
thereafter he opened Wells Real Estate.
Being
a general contractor in Michigan he had construction knowledge and
was instrumental in the moving of houses, duplexes, etc from the
Gulf front to interior lots where they were restored and resold.
Much of the beach front property has been sold by Jim for
condominium developments. Through the years his office has listed
and sold out many condominium projects and is now in the process
of selling out the second phase of Isola Bella Condominiums, an
exclusive beach front project.
 Ann Wells
moved to and has lived on South Padre Island for almost 30 years.
Born and raised in Michigan, she came here with her family and
soon after the office of Wells Real Estate was opened. For many
years she also owned Sunny Isles Rentals, a property management
company. She has listed, sold, and managed many properties
through the years.
Ann
is an avid fisherwoman and welcomes any questions you might have
on the subject of fishing.
 Rick Wells, age 48, has been
active in South Padre Island Real Estate since 1978. A past 3 year
term town alderman and mayor pro-tem Rick understands South Padre

 Carmen Rios, born and raised in Port Isabel, has been working
with Wells Real Estate for 28 years, learning the real estate
business through experience and listening to client needs. She works
hard in finding exactly what the clients want. Carmen is also fluent
in Spanish.

 Bryan D. Ray has lived on
South Padre Island and the surrounding area since 1961. He has been
a charter guide since 1974 and has been working in real estate since
1998. He has a beautiful wife, Mary, and a beautiful 11 year old
daughter, Alexa.
Skip Moore is a licensed Real Estate Broker who has been
actively listing and selling real estate on South Padre Island since
1984. Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada his family moved to
Brownsville, Texas in 1947 where they were involved in transporting
bananas from Belize to Brownsville for many years before becoming
involved in the offshore oil marine industry. Fast forward thru
high school in Brownsville, Four years in the Navy attached to the
Marine Corps with a tour in Viet Nam, 4 years at Texas Christian
University with a degree in business and then working in the marine
industry for companies involved with offshore exploration of oil, to
the real estate business on South Padre Island. He purchased his
first property on the Island in 1975 and finally moved here
permanently in 1984.
He is now a grumpy old man who still loves this place after all of
these years and has an extensive fund of knowledge about the Island
and the unique real estate market that exists here.

 In
1971 Bertha Zamora moved to Port Isabel to become a
teacher. She married Juan Jose (JJ) Zamora and together they have
four children. Bertha worked for the Point Isabel School District
twenty one years. She served in various positions, including
eleven years as a school principal. She then chose to join the
Los Fresnos School District, where whe worked another eleven years
as school principal. After thirty-two yeas of service to
education and students, she chose to retire.
As she
searched for her second career, she chose to become a real estate
agent. She knows the community, the people and the schools well.
She has transferred the many skills she acquired in her roles as
an educator to help her customers and her clients. So come see

Barbara Friedman moved
from Dallas to South Padre Island in 1987. She and her family
vacationed here years before becoming full time residents. Barbara
has been selling real estate on the Island and surrounding area
